First look at Port Loop's Mansion House show apartment
Our latest phase of development at Port Loop, Birmingham’s newest island community created in partnership with Places for People, is progressing with our show apartment at Mansion House now complete.
In our latest blog, Marketing Manager Feargal McKenna gives us the rundown on our newest homes at Port Loop…
Mansion House is the newest addition to Port Loop, comprising 58 thoughtfully designed two-bedroom apartments nestled next to the canal. The design of Mansion House lends itself to phased delivery; the Caddick Construction team have completed the superstructure of the building and have since commenced internal decoration in the first block.
A large part of this phase of construction has been prepping our Mansion House show apartment for our full sales launch in partnership with our appointed agents, Connells.
We’ve been working with local interior designer, san stae’s Aly Grimes, to truly bring the show apartment to life. Aly has done a fantastic job, using the canal and the surrounding areas of Port Loop as her inspiration to blend canalside heritage with the fresh, contemporary feel of the apartments.
Aly has worked with Birmingham-based homeware and lighting showroom, Minima, to source key pieces of furniture; the show apartment is now a vibrant showcase of color, texture, and pattern, featuring heritage décor inspired by narrowboat life (let us know if you spot the boat cleats repurposed as coat hooks!).
Each area of the show apartment has been designed to reflect modern living, from the dining space perfect for entertaining to a dedicated home working area, demonstrating the versatility of the Mansion House apartments.
Designed by shedkm, the Mansion House apartments boast extra high ceilings, large windows, and a dual aspect which floods the space with light and provides long views - making the apartments feel spacious in every direction.
Each apartment at Mansion House has two bedrooms with one and two bathroom options available. All available apartments also have private balconies with the focal point of each living area overlooking the water.
