Look no further than South Street Kitchen for magical tastes and a warm welcome
South Street Kitchen is a bright, modern restaurant soon to celebrate five years at Park Hill in Sheffield.
Opened in 2017 by owners Tim Jenkins and Rachel Cornish it provides an extensive, café-style, Middle Eastern-inspired, vegetarian and vegan lunch menu, which includes a range of daily home-made soups, salads, fatayer and sandwiches. Oh and cakes. Delicious cakes! Cakes to die for. Take-away, is available too, thankfully. Community is an important and integral part of South Street Kitchen’s ethos, with a table always reserved for Park Hill residents who are either solo or who want to meet other residents.
However, this very popular café is also a much underestimated restaurant. Now open on Friday and Saturday evenings it gives Head Chef David and his team the opportunity to demonstrate their talents, being given the creative freedom to design seasonally inspired sharing plates and monthly tasting menus. Also available is an extensive cocktail list that includes delicious non alcoholic cocktail options too. Also of course a select wine and beer menu. Keep an eye out for themed nights and Christmas menus – you can find them all on the South Street Kitchen website.
South Street Kitchen is an absolute find and has become a destination drawing in Park Hill residents as well as visitors from across Sheffield and beyond. Once found - always on the go to list. Its mouth-watering line-up of fresh and seasonal produce alongside extremely friend staff and stunning views of the city means it is an ideal location for friends, dates, family gatherings and pre or post theatre or cinema bite.
