Port loop wins a prestigious housing design award
Adding to our bustling awards cabinet of industry honours, Port Loop was recently presented with another prestigious accolade - the Housing Design Awards 2021 ‘Healthy Homes’ award.
This new award recognises the modular Town House homes in our new Port Loop neighbourhood as the ‘healthiest homes’ in the UK thanks to the high quality green open space that has been created for our residents to enjoy.
Designed by shedkm architects, our Town House homes offer a unique approach to outdoor space, with each block of properties enjoying access to 8,600 sq ft shared garden space – roughly the size of three full-sized tennis courts.
This luscious design feature has been celebrated for supporting our homeowners’ physical and mental wellbeing during lockdown.
Launched in 1948, the Housing Design Awards are the longest running industry awards and are the only ones recognised by all five major property institutions – RICS, RIBA, RTPI, Landscape Institute and Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
Port Loop was the only development in the West Midlands to be recognised at this year’s awards which honours the most innovative architectural designs across the country.
This new accolade brings Port Loop’s total number of award wins to nine since 2019, showcasing our commitment to regeneration, community and creating future proofed homes.
