Urban Splash Newsplash - May 2019

    14 May 2019
A 8 minute read by Tom Bloxham

Welcome to our May edition of Newsplash - a monthly round-up of all things Urban Splash, featuring new homes, scheme launches, commercial news and much more.

This edition starts with some breaking news about our newest partners from Japan... There's also news about our recent sales launch of Mansion House in Manchester and details of our next sales launch at Port Loop in Birmingham... enjoy!

    House by Urban Splash

We've formed a new partnership with Japan's biggest housebuilder and Homes England

The £90m deal, as reported in the Financial Times, in which tech entrepreneur Noel McKee, and Channel 4 architect George Clarke have also invested, means we’ll be working in collaboration with Sekisui House to create more House by Urban Splash homes throughout the UK.

    Mansion House, New Islington

Mansion House apartments now on sale at New Islington

We're excited to have just released these beautifully designed homes for sale in Manchester. Available off plan, these CLT, modular apartments have stunning views over the New Islington Marina somewhere described as Manchester's 'most promising area', and they're right by Ancoats (somewhere the Sunday Times recently named as one of the UK's best places to live). Prices start from £290,000.

    Copper Building, Bristol

Copper Building is ready to shine

The façade of Copper Building in South Bristol is now glistening in the sunshine as the building nears completion. There’ll be a total of 136 apartments in the building, including duplex penthouses with views over 10 acres of private gardens and a lake, to the hills beyond. Want one? Check out what’s still on sale here.

    Port Loop, Birmingham

    Open House at Port Loop

We're throwing open the doors of our brand new show home at Port Loop on Saturday 8th June. Come and take a look around our three storey Town House, sitting right on the edge of a new one acre park, and learn more about our plans for a brand new island community.

    Smokehouses, Smith's Dock, North Shields

The beach, good bars, good restaurants - and great people

Smith’s Dock in North Shields is a brand new neighbourhood on the Tyne that we’re creating with our partners, Places for People. Home owners have recently started to move in to the waterfront apartments at Smokehouses and we’ve had some great feedback; head to our website to see what resident Becky has to say.

    Boat Shed, Salford Quays

The 90s remastered at Salford Quays

When we bought Boat Shed two years ago, it was almost empty; now, thanks to our restoration programme we’ve attracted lots of new tenants. The building’s almost full with just five units remaining.
