Check out our brand new House by Urban Splash homes
Looking for something brand new? With great design, in a great neighbourhood? We’re onsite with even more of our award-winning House by Urban Splash homes, including Town House and Mansion House at New Islington in Manchester, canalside Town House homes at Port Loop in Birmingham, and customisable homes at Inholm, Northstowe in Cambridgeshire. In January we’ll be launching them at East Float on the Wirral too.
Welcoming our new Director of Architecture
Tom Jarman has joined us as Director of Architecture, helping our customers “Live Well by Design” in great new neighbourhoods, and helping us expand our portfolio of our customisable homes using modern methods of construction. Tom, who’s received a Stirling Prize nomination for his work, joins us from FCBStudios and says he’s “really delighted to be joining a business that is tangibly pioneering a new approach to housebuilding in the UK.”
We’re 90% let at Matchworks — final workspaces are now available
We’ve welcomed more new businesses to our Matchworks estate in South Liverpool, completing deals on 19,000 sq ft of office, studio and light industrial space in the past few months. The deals mean that the estate is now 90% let, with just a few spaces available — including lovely workspaces like these.
More awards and our trailblazing colleagues
Our House by Urban Splash colleagues Claire Kober and Sam Lenehan earned places on the RESI Trailblazer 2020 list which was unveiled last week; meanwhile our efforts in creating Birmingham’s newest neighbourhood at Port Loop were recognised as Insider's Placemaking Project of the year and we won the Estates Gazette Award for Regional Deal for our partnership with Sekisui House and Homes England.
Home of the month —
35 Inholm, Northstowe, Cambridge
This three storey Town House in our new neighbourhood of Inholm in Cambridgeshire, offers 139 sq m of space – all of which can be designed by you! Create your own layout; do you want two bedrooms? Or five? Garden living (kitchen on the ground floor) or loft living (kitchen on the top floor)? The choice is yours.
Workspace of the month —
Pavilion 1, Matchworks
Pavilion 1 is a workspace at the heart of the Matchworks estate in South Liverpool. Offering 8,803 sq ft (818 sq m) it’s perfect for those looking for a new base in a great location. Our estate’s packed with great businesses, with a vibe that transcends the 9 to 5 giving tenants additional amenities such as the Climbing Hangar – a climbing facility and coffee house which opened over the summer – and the 247 gym. There’s loads of lovely outdoor space too.
