    Welcome to our October edition of Newsplash - a monthly round-up of all things Urban Splash, featuring new homes, scheme launches, commercial news and much more.

    This month, we're launching more new homes at our Copper Building in South Bristol, where we're opening the doors to our brand new show apartment this weekend. There's news on on our invitation from the Government to be a Northern Powerhouse partner, as well as the opening of the Prince's Trust at Beehive Mill in Manchester. Brick House at Port Loop successfully and there's also news from down south in Plymouth where Everyman Cinema have received planning at Royal William Yard.     Copper Building penthouse show apartment launches 5 October

    On Saturday 5 October, we’re launching our penthouse show apartment at Copper Building in South Bristol, giving customers a first look around the new building, which is set in 10 acres of private gardens (all for our residents’ use), and has its own lake too. Homes come with floor to ceiling windows, balconies, dual aspect views (over those gardens) and prices start from £150,000. See you on launch day!

    Urban Splash invited to become a Northern Powerhouse partner

    We’ve been invited by the Government to become a Northern Powerhouse partner, joining other selected businesses, civic bodies and charities from the North of England. Speaking of our appointment, Minister for the Northern Powerhouse, the Rt. Hon. Jake Berry, MP says Urban Splash is: “a fantastic example of a business with a national presence based in the heart of the North.”

    Brick House is now on sale at Port Loop in Birmingham

    Brick House is now on sale in Birmingham, with a brilliant launch event, welcoming the first customers who’ve now secured one of these Glenn Howells Architects designed homes. There are three and four-bedroom homes on offer, each of them over two or three storeys; residents will also have a vast shared garden. The new homes are on sale now, with prices from £300,000.

    The Prince's Trust moves to Beehive Mill in Manchester

    The Prince’s Trust has opened its first ever Manchester centre in our Beehive Mill in Ancoats – a building we’ve transformed from a former nightclub into design-led workspaces. The new Prince’s Trust centre spans two floors of the building and is a hub for the city’s young people, with advice and facilities – including a climbing wall – on offer. It opened with a launch event attended by Mayor Andy Burnham (pictured above with our Chairman Tom), BBC presenter Naga Munchetty and X Factor star Fleur East.

    Everyman Cinema

    Lights, camera, action: Planning for Everyman Cinema at Royal William Yard

    We’re creating an exciting new cultural hub at Melville at Royal William Yard, with work underway to create workspaces ranging from 300 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft, including retail, restaurant, leisure spaces and a courtyard. Everyman Cinema is already signed up as the building’s first tenant and has now secured planning approval for the new, three-screen venue. Our transformation of Melville will complete next year; fancy moving your business there?
