    37.5 hours (including weekends) – Tuesday to Saturday

    Salary

    £24,000 (plus commission)

    Location

    Manchester Head Office, with travel between developments

    Key responsibilities

    Respond to sales and rental enquiries quickly and efficiently, in a polite and informative manner.

    Maintain excellent communication and customer service levels.

    Ensure key and fob stocks are organised and maintained.

    Qualify potential customers and ensure that all suitable homes are discussed.

    Accompany potential tenants and purchasers on viewings of residential properties.

    Build up knowledge of all schemes and availability.

    Ensure that details of all visitors and enquiries are logged and followed up.

    Work as part of the team to deliver sales and rentals targets.

    Conduct move ins and move outs plus associated inspections, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed and documented.

    Take responsibility for maintaining great customer and client relationships with a view to generating more loyalty business.

    Other ad-hoc duties, when necessitated by the needs of the business.

    Skills, knowledge and experience

    Proven experience in a residential lettings and/or sales environment.

    Experience of working to and meeting targets.

    An understanding of the residential lettings and estate agency business.

    Approachable with great customer care and communication skills - both written and oral.

    Ability to work with minimum supervision and to use your initiative in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong IT skills, specifically in using Microsoft Office.

    Excellent organisational skills.

    You must be enthusiastic and flexible with an interest in both sales and lettings. If your strengths are in one particular area, we will work with you to develop your knowledge across the two disciplines.

    An understanding of shared ownership and shared equity is desirable.

    A basic knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law is desirable.

    Knowledge of the conveyancing process is desirable.

    Qualifications

    5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or equivalent).

    Professional qualification from awarding body such as ARLA desirable.
