Stunning inside and out
Mills Bakery is a Grade I Listed structure that combines a timeless neo-classical exterior with a stunning interior redevelopment which blends 19th century features with eye-catching modern touches.
It stands at the heart of our Royal William Yard scheme in Plymouth - a place where thousands of people live and work. It’s filled with beautiful buildings, stunning views, great restaurants, leisure facilities, bakery and galleries, and a jam-packed calendar of events like craft and food markets, seasonal events, pop-up arts performances such as the Invisible Circus’ street entertainers, through to weekly yoga and fitness classes on the lawn.
We’ve done lots of work round these parts, not just in the buildings but also connecting the stunning, award-winning steps down to the famous South West Coast Path; we’ve opened up the waterfront too meaning you can rent a paddleboard, take a dip in the tidal swimming pool at Firestone Bay, berth your boat on our marina or take the ferry across to the Barbican on our hourly service.
