Another star pupil joins the Schoolhouse
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash has secured a new tenant at its Schoolhouse scheme in Trafford Park, Manchester, taking the total value of space let this year to more than 90,000 sq ft.
Online marketing agency theEword has taken a 2,276 sq ft office within the scheme’s Annexe building, a former school which is situated at the heart of Trafford Park. The office will house their team of 16 employees specialising in SEO, PPC, commercial copywriting and web design.
Tom Glass, design director and co-founder of theEword, said: “We’re delighted to have moved into our new home, which will accommodate our expanding team. Our business is young, vibrant and in a growing and changing industry, something we feel a landlord like Urban Splash appreciates and accommodates.”
Schoolhouse was one of the earliest Urban Splash building as well as being the first to receive a RIBA award for architecture when it was completed in 1996. The company has won 20 more since for schemes around the country.
