First business to move to Park Hill
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash has announced international creative design studio Human as the first commercial tenant to sign up for office space at the new Park Hill.
Urban Splash is creating a range of commercial space options as part of its redevelopment at the iconic Grade II* Listed building with units sized from 500 sqft to 30,000 sqft. Design studio Human, whose clients include MTV, Swatch and the University of Sheffield, has signed up to lease 1,100sqft of office space across two floors.
Nick Bax, Human, said: “For me Park Hill has always been the most important building in Sheffield and it's something the people we work with always ask about. As a team we work locally, nationally and internationally, but Sheffield will always be our home. Park Hill is iconic to Sheffield and a landmark building on a national and international scale, so it's a fitting place for Human to be. We are already based in a Grade II listed building in Sheffield and Park Hill is the only location we considered moving to.”
The 6-strong Human team is set to move from their current home at Globe Works in Shalesmoor to Park Hill in Spring 2013.

Urban Splash offers a simple route into the commercial space at Park Hill using their Short Form Lease. The lease simplifies the legal process of signing up for office space into a single four page document, enabling businesses to quickly sign up to be part of the scheme.
Twelve one and two bedroom apartments at Park Hill have also recently been made available for Shared Ownership sale. Prices start at just over £30,000 for a 35% share, bringing them well within reach of people on lower to middle incomes, with prices from £45,000 for a 50 per cent share. Shared Ownership gives working people who earn a combined household income of under £60,000 per annum the chance to buy a percentage of their home, and pay a small rent on the remainder they don’t own.
They are being sold by Urban Splash on behalf of Great Places, the affordable home ownership arm of Great Places Housing Group, a key investor and partner in the project.

The marketing suite is located by the main entrance on South Street and is at the heart of the first phase of Park Hill, and is open Tuesdays to Saturdays 11am till 6pm, with late opening on Thursdays 11am till 8pm.
