Lakeshore wins Development of the Year
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash’s Lakeshore was awarded Blue Ribbon’s ‘Development of the Year’ on Wednesday 20th March 2013.
This latest accomplishment comes after a hugely successful year of award wins for Bristol’s most exciting housing development, a collection of 270 stylish eco apartments sat on top their own private lake. The redevelopment of the former Imperial Tobacco Factory HQ has resulted in the Grade II listed building being transformed into a stunning residential development with over 130 apartments now occupied, offering residents’ urban living on the doorstep of the countryside and set in 10 acres of country park. The design led apartments sit over a private fishing lake, surrounded by mature countryside boasting apple orchards and cherry trees, nature trails, BBQ and picnic areas. There is also a private resident’s gym, allotments, boules court and onsite parking.
Recently, Lakeshore has won Gold in the Sustainable Development category at the prestigious What House Awards, a Green Appple Award for Sustainable and Green Credentials, as well as being shortlisted for the RIBA Award, RIBS Regeneration and RICS Residential and the Sunday Times British Homes Awards.
