University of Plymouth learns more about Royal William Yard
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash has confirmed that existing tenant the University of Plymouth has completed a deal on a further 5,700 sq ft of space at Mills Bakery, Royal William Yard.
It comes soon after the University completed a deal on 3,300 sq ft of space late last year, more than doubling its presence at the Grade I listed scheme, which enjoys prominent positioning on the Plymouth Estuary.
Emily Jones, associate director at Urban Splash said: “To complete on a deal like this so early in January has put us in good stead for the year ahead.
“Since the completion of additional commercial space at Mills Bakery last year, interest in the Yard has been renewed significantly. It’s a thriving destination which is already home to a number of businesses including Bluestone360 Advertising and Marketing and HLM Architects each of whom benefits from a stunning waterfront location and ample parking.”
A mix of office, retail and leisure space remains at the Yard. It provides an idyllic commercial location supported by a growing residential community as well as increasing numbers of visitors who are attracted to the site’s heritage. Space remains in Mills Bakery and the adjacent Brewhouse building and anybody wishing to obtain further details can call 0333 666 0000 or visit ec2-63-34-210-119.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/commercial.
