Urban Splash and Places for People win three awards for Park Hill
Regeneration company Urban Splash and partners Places for People, one of the largest property and leisure management, development and regeneration companies operating across the UK, have won three national awards for the Park Hill development in Sheffield at the Planning & Placemaking Awards. These were for Best Housing Scheme (more than 500 homes), Best Regeneration and Regional Award for Northern England.

They are a result of great partnership and vision, that also includes the vital support of the public sector. All of us are committed to completing the massive Park Hill project so we can supply mixed tenure housing, work spaces and leisure for the residents and local community. This is also recognition for the growing attraction to living in the city centre, something Sheffield should be proud of.”

Phase I of Park Hill has seen award winning Urban Splash, Places for People and Great Places, create 260 apartments and 10 contemporary workspaces. There are now only 10 apartments left to sell and 10 to rent with only 2 commercial units remaining. Work will start on the next phase following planning permissions.
Park Hill is also attracting visitors as the S1 Artspace exhibition programme at the Scottish Queen is currently hosting the high profile Brutalist Playground by Turner Prize winning architecture collective Assemble and artist Simon Terrill.
