Urban Splash looks to the future, with 30th anniversary celebration film
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash has released a new short film, chronicling three decades in business, and making announcements about its future pipeline of schemes
The film has been created by the Urban Splash in house marketing team, with the support of design partners Somewhere. Together, the teams have created a two-minute video that captures the achievements of Urban Splash over the past 30 years.
It also gives viewers an insight into its plans for a green future, unveiling new developments including Campbell Park Northside in Milton Keynes, Cole Brothers in Sheffield, as well as new neighbourhoods in Swansea and Cumbria.
Rachel Thomas at Urban Splash led the project and said: “This week, as we mark 30 years of Urban Splash, we are delighted to share this new film with our colleagues, friends and customers.
“The result is a beautiful, visual representation of our journey – one which acknowledges the learnings of the past three decades while also setting out our vision for the future, and what the next 30 years will bring.
“We’ve made some bold statements about the people we want around us on that journey – innovators, disruptors and creative thinkers – the kinds of people who’ve challenged the norm and helped us deliver the Urban Splash places we’ve already created over the years. As we say in the film – “the future is a shared project” and we’ll need great people around us as we move forward.”
Established in Manchester in 1993, Urban Splash has since transformed disused and unloved buildings across the country, creating more than 6,000 homes and 2 million sq ft of workspace. The team has won more than 475 awards for its work, including more than 40 awards for its marketing and creative campaigns.
